Hi, I hope you are all keeping well.
I just wanted to give you an update as it has been a while since I last. After 5 months in lockdown looking after my children I have now returned to my full time job (boo) what does this mean for the store? Well not much really...... I have always run this store as a sideline in my spare time and have managed quite well to date. I will continue to maintain stock levels with small casting runs at weekends and my agreement with work is to take days out when we quieten down to allow me time to work on the store.
I have just received a huge batch of 3d prints which I am cleaning up now, I'm aiming to get these into the store as soon as is possible. I'm rather excited about all of them as most was designed with my own army plans in mind, so I'm just as keen to get them cast.
It seems the world is generally getting back into the flow of things in regards to postage, apart from the USA. There have been one or two minor delays with Canada but nothing major. The USA however is experiencing its own brand of crazy and there are issues with customs and USPS, in general parcels are getting through all be it delayed. Because of the known problems there is now a lengthened wait time for claims on lost parcels to the USA. We have been assured that all parties are working to resolve these issues although I fear it does far deeper then they are able to resolve.
There has also been an increase to the cost of international postage due to decreased air travel so royal mail have just upped their prices. BUT the good news for you guys is I haven't at present! I have reviewed item weights to make sure parcels fall into correct price banding but I don't intend on increasing postage prices unless I absolutely have to!
With that in mind and all the issues faced with international postage I would always recommend you upgrade your postage to TRACKED for added peace of mind.
